Level 3 Certificate Sports Massage Therapy
Course Introduction
The aim of the Level 3 Sports Massage Course is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to provide sports massage therapy to a range of clients with dysfunctional tissue, excluding those with acute/post-acute injuries.
Sports Massage Training UK Ofqual-regulated Level 3 Sports Massage course,
On completion of this Ofqual-regulated course, you’ll be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of common sports injuries and help athletes to recover and return to sport using advanced massage techniques.
During the sports massage course practical assessment, you will deliver a pre-event, post-event and maintenance sports massage. Within the maintenance massage, you will also conduct a full consultation and postural assessment.

The next ITEC will be on August1st and October 1st, 2026 (dates to be confirmed!). In 2027, the ITEC will take place in May, August, and October. A cohort must have at least 5 students per exam, or you may need to take the exam at a different exam center or on a different date. Email info@smtuk.com to get the dates.
